New magnetic drilling machines offer more protection and safety

The carbon brushes of the new magnetic drilling machines are equipped with two protective functionalities. A carbon brush wear indicator that switches on if the carbon brushes are worn out and need to be replaced. The other functionality is the total shutdown of the motor when the carbon brushes are completely worn out. The purpose of these functionalities is to prevent unnecessary costs and to extend the lifespan of the machine.

GYRO-TEC safety
The GYRO-TEC safety functionality is equipped with a gyroscopic sensor that detects acceleration and displacement in any direction. The magnetic drilling machine’s motor switches off automatically when magnetic force is suddenly lost, during excessive vibrations and sudden movement of the workpiece, to prevent damage or injury to the machine, tool, workpiece or user.

The new machines can be recognized by their model number with a +. This + also stands for power surge protection and power fluctuation protection. This ensures the machine can also be used in places with poor quality of power supply.
